How bad is rust by the roof of a D2? Can this be easy fixed?

A lot of D2s rust there. Is it rusted through or still solid? I usually just see surface rust there.

It's surface rust. What's the best way to address this?

Yep exactly. If you want to get serious a Dremel with a wire brush, some rust encapsulating primer and touch up paint to match.

.... and repeat every 2 or 3 years. I’ve never found a permanent rust fix
