Default Sad day

Well ladies and gents, after these last couple of years I have learned how to tear down an engine, repair brake systems, rebuild differentials, work out cooling issues, repair driveshafts, troubleshoot some of the most troublesome codes and electrical issues, deal with trail fixes, replace my spark plugs and hell so many other odds and ends.

The experience I got here led to me getting a job with Chrysler and I'm going down a new path and sadly the Rover wont be coming with me this time.

Right now it sits for sale and despite getting me through some tough **** and never failing me when I need it most, it's time it goes.

I hope that one day I'll have the money to get another D2, and build it properly.

Thank you all so much for all of your help. You definitely helped me go from someone who doesn't understand basic mechanics to a proper technician.

Happy trails, Josh Vail

Congrats on the job! If you could get me a deal on a SRT grand cherokee, I'd be writing a similar post

If he can't....I Can.... Clyde@DaveSmithMotors.... 800.635.8000 ext 1237..

Last time I looked we had 3? 4? something of that nature in stock.

I feel guilty (back on topic) wheeling a Landy, when I sell Rubi w/Pentastar...
If it were realistic, I'd stuff a P-star in this, lose some torque, gain 50% more horse, and have a holocaust proof engine...

Congrats on the gig with F-CA

I have been thinking the same recently, "is it time to retire the ole D2 Landy" as it's only a second car but having owned it from new it's hard to get rid. It's a shame to see you go FZ but good luck with your new job as John Wayne said " a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" but as far as the Rover's go FZ you have already said like Arnie famous line "I'll be back". Good luck and see you back here sometime.

what happened to all of them? On another car board one day all the old timers left to go to a different car board due to issues with the moderators. Is that what happened here?
