Good the kid was OK.

Diana was so stupid not wearing a seat belt and also getting into a car with a drunk driver. OK she might have been injured had she worn a seat belt but would have probably survived as did her bodyguard in the front seat who was wearing a seat belt. I reckon the paparazzi story is all smoke and mirrors and the crash happened mainly due to a drunk driving far too fast.

As for protection in an accident, yeah, when your number is up in any case nothing's going to save your bacon whatever the circumstances.

Wow. Oh wow. I could never have imagined that my little post about my son's rear ender would've gotten tied to Princess Di, who died nine days after he was born. I remember being out with my in-laws and hearing the news on the radio when they were here visiting after his birth.

6 degrees of separation. you are a land rover owner. You son was driving said Land rover. Got into an accident (or incident). A chap makes a comment. Another chap makes a comment about Princess Diana. Who ironically died 9 days after your son's birth in a.....car accident.

I think that's 6 anyway....
But seriously, I'm glad he's ok.

Finally got around to removing the ARB this weekend. Here is a pic of the crush cans off the truck and another of the shallow dent that is the only damage I can see to the bumper itself.

Any plans for the arb? I live in Sanford and could come take it off your hands and make sure it is properly recycled.
