Default Seat upgrade question

I have searched and have come up nothing. My question is Do all Disco 1 come pre-wired to accept Power leather seat wiring. I have a 1995 Disco1 and have aquired a 1999 Disco parts truck with good power leather seats and would like to upgrade from my manual cloth seats. Is the wiring under the console? I have all the components in tact in the 99'. Is it plug-n-play?

is the 99 a d1 or d2.... d2 seats wont bolt up and will never fit..... the power leather seats from a d1 will work just fine, the wiring is there for them, they just need to be plugged in

just make sure your using D1 parts

They are both Disco 1. I am going to mount them before my trip coming up on the 16th so I just wanted to make sure that they would be simple as I would save them for a later project otherwise. Thanks

You will have to switch center consoles and add the ECU. Manual seats do not have places for the switches in the consoles.

Well, not changing the seats now. I have found that My early 95' has completley different mounting points. Sooo, Has any one found a replacment for the Rubber Webbing that supports your ***? My driver seat has sunk and Its not very comfortable anymore for long trips.

why dont you just find a pick and pull with a manual seat off a 99 or 98 disco 1 so you know the seat has less mileage on it....
