Selecting a new universal CAT...

Update
Didnt need a new cat after all. I ended up buying a magnaflow 99204hm but held off on the install since I also ordered some of the Walker o2 sensors from Miami British. I installed them last week and havent had the p0420 since. So it looks like Ill be putting the Cat back up on ebay.
So I guess as long as I keep this truck healthy my cats will last a long long time, fingers crossed.
Now on to my 3 amigos issue

problem NOT solved after all...
So today here in Seattle its been raining horrendously all day and night. On the way home from work I get a pending code for p0420 and p0133. Exactly what I was getting on a daily basis before replacing the o2s.
Ive been driving with these new o2s for almost 2 weeks now and havent had any codes what so ever. Its also been pretty nice out. Am I correct to assume this is a wiring issue. Open wire rubbing on the engine? Or possibly a bad ground. I didnt spray the connectors with cleaner when I replaced the o2s. I did use some dielectric grease though.
Any thoughts?

You can buy the aftermarket CATS in one big assy.
Bolt them on.
They will not ship the cats to California. but, if you can have them shipped to Nevada just go get them.
In California they never checked my CATS for compatibility or OEM on my 1997.
They put the sniffer in the tail pipe. It passed. And that's that.

Ah Seattle.
Nice place.
Rain came early. But, then you got an extra few weeks lead time.
You had sun a few weeks before July 4th. Seattle keeps track of the sunny days.
You are getting pay back now for borrowing sunny days early.
Seattle air check will not do much.
Put on the new CATS.
Pay the $15.
Take the Rover to the air check in Redmond.
I took my 1997 D1 there - with aftermarket cats.
Never a problem.
Passed. And I got my TABS on 85th street TABS place in Kirkland.
Go to St James Espresso for Coffee in Kirkland. Tell Ron I sent you.

jfall, thanks for the input. but I think i need to figure out why im getting an o2 slow response code (p0133) from brand new o2 sensors first. I imagine ill have to remove the intake at the very least to inspect these wires. Ill keep the Magnaflow cat I bought around just in case I decide to install it, I scored it for $80 w/ shipping.
Being dry and sunny here for nearly 2 weeks with no code whatsoever then suddenly throwing these pending codes during a torrential down poor point directly to a wiring or plug fault to me.

cleared my p0133. Cleaned the connection a couple times and finally got it to stay away. Listened to my cat the other day and it has a soft tapping noise. Also im still getting the p0420.
I took my 99204HM Magnaflow to a reputable exhaust place and the guy told me he didnt think this cat will work. Maybe for two weeks. He recommended I sell it and buy a California cat. Also he quoted me $100 bucks for install when Im ready. Yikes!!
Maybe Ill get my hands on a welder after all.
