Came out to the truck(01 DII) this morning to find the back end all the way down. Started and self leveling susp light stays on, AMBER. It is 16 degrees here, very cold for AL, could that be part of the prob or is something on the way out? Never givin me any prob before.

Need to read your owners manual.
Did it rise up after starting the engine, and did you have the drivers door closed when trying to air up?

It doesn't do anything right now. It won't rise, it is on the stops now, and all the doors were closed when I tried. All the owners manual says is seek professional assistance if light remains illuminated AMBER.

Uh, don't you think that is your answer? Unless of course you assume we are "Professional assistance" ;-)

Had basically the same thing happen...99 disco II, with the help from Mike and a shop who had the "right" computer to hook up to the rover.
the shop cleared my fault codes and had to replace the air pump which was leaking air...works great now!!!!

I am in SE AL and the nearest dealer is hours away, also the last time I tried to find a repair shop I had no luck.

Thanks for the info Ralph, I am sure I'll figure it out soon, just wanted to look inot it ASAP because I am going to be away for the next 3 weeks and didn't want an ornamnent in the driveway while I was away.

warmed up to about 40 and it's working fine now. It has been raining here pretty hard the last few days and then below freezing last night. Do you think some moisture got in the switchology and caused somethin to freeze up. Light is out and system is working good. We'll see what happens. Thanks
