Service Engine Light after throttle body cleaning??
I followed spike's steps to clean the throttle body on my 03 discovery, and after I started her up she sputtered like he said she would, and while I was driving around the block, the service engine light came on...any ideas? Will this light turn off or what do I need to do??

Yes it is normal because you in essence flooded your engine while you were cleaning the throttle body. And no one knows if the codes will go away because no one knows the exact codes you got. Autozone will read them for free but they will not erase them. So you can drive around for a week and maybe they will go away or just rent a scanner or borrow one from someone and clear them in 20 seconds.

Don't go wasting your money just yet. It is possible to have a code come on when doing the induction cleaning, and if after driving it, it runs smooth, wait a couple of days cause there is a good chance it will go off by it self, usually after 5 or 10 start cycles. If it doesn't, then go ask to get it cleared. It should not come on when doing a t/body cleaning, unless you try cleaning while the engine is running which is not the way to do it.
