Default Service Manual for 03 Disco

I'm looking for a service manual for my 03 Disco. All the Haynes manual I've seen only covers up to 2002. I have seen a Factory Shop Manual that covers up to 2003 on Ebay but it's close to $100. Am I better off just getting one of the service manual CDs from Ebay? Any source for a paper service manual that covers the 2003 Disco? Thanks.

Alan

Default RE: Service Manual for 03 Disco

I bought one of the CDs sold on ebay, for $10. I was skeptical it would be a cheap knock off, but it is the exact same manual the dealer uses.
I know because when I went to the dealer they wanted to charge $700 to change the spark plug wires and acouple other small things. I said screw that and told them I would do it myself, they were nice enough to give me a print out of the section in their manual that would help me through the process. When I received the CD in the mail I compared the page numbers, and they were the exact same pages with exact same instructions.
Save the money and buy the CD, you can print out what ever you need. I would not use a Haynes, Im not sure how accurate they are for LRs but for my corvette their tightening sequence was WAAAAY off.... I had to redo the top half of the engine going off the Helms (the dealership used maual). I would go with the CD I mentioned.
