SES staying on after maintenance

No, it should go out after a dozen start cycles or so.
If it stays on for more than a couple of weeks then have the codes cleared.
If you were to have a DI then the light would NOT go out on its own, but on a DII it should.
Once the ECU reconizes that there are no faults the light should go out.

if you live in cali, forget getting auto parts store to even scan anything let alone clear something. if you can get your hand on any good OBD II scan tool you sould be able to clear codes. the codes sould go away with a few more start cycles though
if you want a laugh ask the guy at the counter if he can do a resistance test on a TPS and watch his face

Mike, definitely had everything back together before I fired up the motor...I knew that would throw codes. I dumped alot of carb cleaner into the intake, so I have no doubt it's probably a soft 02 sensor code.
Are the MAF's really that sensitive? I was insanely careful removing it and putting it back on, and didn't clean it or anything.
No local auto parts stores w/ a scanner, guess I may have to see if my friendly LR dealer will kindly reset the codes for free (or even a few bucks).
