Default Shaking around 75MPH

The car drives smooth until around 75mph and then the car begins to vibrate until about 85mph then smooth again. Any ideas. I just replaced the front drive shaft.

Was the vibration there before you replaced the driveshaft? Was the driveshaft balanced?

Tom Woods or stock drive shaft?
Do you have mud or dirt stuck to the inside of the wheel rims? That also vibrates at about 70.
In case you have not noticed the speed limit is 70mph...

@SDinDS-Yes the vibration was there before. Not sure what you mean by balanced, maybe that it the problem...I replaced it myself because it seemed like a simple fix.

@Bundu-I believe it is a stock drive shaft although I know it is greasable if that makes a difference. No mud or dirt though, I don't go off road.

@SDinDS-I just checked the paperwork that came with the shaft and it was balanced.

Slow down for one and go get your tires balanced and rotated.

Did it shake before you got the tires "balanced"? sometimes the goons they hire at some tire places are not so great. I had my tires done at tire whorehouse about 6 months ago and got about 5 or 6 miles away and lost a hubcap. I don't even have a clue how they screwed that up but they did. Just a thought.

What kind of shape is the REAR driveshaft in. I know that the rotoflex at the rear dif. can come apart on you and I'm sure that could cause some vibration. I'm not sure about that but, it's probably worth taking a look. I know I need one, mine is all weather-cracked.
