Default Show me your cockpit setup.

Since I'm new to the Disco II I'm curious how others have designed their dash/ cockpit? In my Toyota 4runner I have a ton of devices, cel phone, tablet (for navigation) handheld ham radio, race radio, CB , switch lighting and GoPro mount. I'd like to have all these devices in my disco as well.

I love the Disco orientation but the windshield feels really far away from the edge of the dash making suction mounts less then desirable.

I don't have a pic but I run an iPad mini with a ram suction mount and arm and it sits almost flush with the edge of the dash. Very pleased with that set up (solid enough to stay stuck when off-roading) other than the limitations of temp swings and suction cups... On the left side between the pillar and the gauge cluster I have a 6 switch (switch pros knockoff) for accessories (lights, air compressor, locker, etc). I mount gopros outside of vehicle if I run them (suction cup or bar mounts to bumper, roof rack, etc).

I haven't seen any commercial products but the space in the middle of the dash where there is the little rubber thing would be a good place for a base plate to secure a tablet and a radio.

My Ultragauge sits to the left of the gauge cluster. Phone microphone is mounted at the top of the A pillar. Standalone Garmin GPS for breadcrumb mapping is on a permanent surface mount to the right of the gauge cluster. CB is to the right of that, set back so that it doesn't interfere with anything. Dashcam is permanently mounted behind the rear view mirror. GPS antenna mounted at the top right of the windshield. Android-based audio system in place of the stock system, with a USB port mounted in a spare slot in the button panel on the HVAC console.

The one in the truck is an ancient Nuvi 1300, and I have a Zumo 550 for my bikes. The Nuvi is really just for keeping a breadcrumb coordinate trail that I can drop into GIS software later. One of my research areas has to do with the shifting of historic roads over time, so I have an excuse to go overlanding.
