If you have a power washer that will be better. I think a machine wash would damage it, but i've never done it so I cant say for sure. But your best bet is to get some power washer soap and clean the cover that way. Worked for mine and it did a good job. If you dont have a power washer, you can rent one from home improvement places, such as Lowes, Home Depot, ACE, ect... But trust me once you have one for a while you will be addicted, you will want to power wash everything. SO go buy one if you dont have one already!
