Default Springs

I have an 02 Disco2 SE without self leveling it came that way from factory, anyway I have a broken front spring and with 120k on the odometer I will go ahead and replace the shocks at the same time. Here is my question:I just want to install stock shocks and springs, I do little rugged offroading as I live at the beach an its flat here and my rover is a daily driver so on the road ride and handling is important to me. What are your suggestions?

Thanks

I have not seen much that will not raise a disco or stiffen the ride in kit form, all the kits appear to be for off-road.
Rover north list oem spring at $150ea, and oem shocks at $85ea.
atlantic britsh has a set of 4 stock spring for $369.00 but they do not say oem.
you might want to look at Monroe truck sensormatics for shocks, i just put them in the wifes RRC.
it is really cheeper to put in a lift kit, but you know the ride will suffer.
if you find something drop me a line i am also looking

The worst thing you can do is to add new factory shocks and springs, they won't last long and they are as expensive as hell.
Go to Lucky8 and talk with Justin regarding buy a set of Terra Firma shocks and springs, since you don't play hard with your truck, they would be a great way to go.

I have the TF052 springs installed on my D2. I used Monroe shocks that have the right ends but are 2" longer (will see if I can find the invoice with part number) It did lift the truck 2" and the ride is moderately firmer but I would not call it harsh by any means. I am waiting on my DAP winch plate to mount a 9000lb winch behind my bumper therefore I went with the heavier springs. I do like Terra Firma products like Mike suggested. YMMV

Here you go, then just buy shocks anywhere you want.
Even though you dont need all the parts it is still cheaper than any other option.
Shocks are about $150 for a set at AutoZone.

Those are not what he needs for a broken front coil.

Default Procomp

Go get some procomp shocks for about $175.00 for a complete set. Look at rovers north for part numbers. I will look tomorrow and give you the numbers for your truck. I got from:

Tonneau Covers, Lift Kits, Winches, Leveling Kits, Tires, Wheels & Tonneau Cover Truck Parts by 4 Wheel Parts

There nice. Cant go wrong..
Good luck , Chris

ProComp shocks are junk when it comes to Rovers, stay away from them.

What do you think about BritPart springs Mike?
They are popular in Europe but I know nothing about them.
