so i got the power steering pump and one of the hoses replaced 3 weeks ago. one of the things that started happening just as those parts went **** up was the srs light started to come on intermittently. i made a note of it to the service dept. my parts are replaced, the pump seems to have a loud whine and the light comes on and stays on now. no fluid leaking. before i get told to take it back in, i am so going to do that. i just want to see if someone can tell me why its happening before i get told the blinker fluid is low and that was the problem all along. the rave seems to link the steering system to the srs light but i cant seem to learn much more. all assistance is appreciated in advance.

SRS is for seatblets and airbags......
check the connections under the seats and lube the seat belt clickers with some WD-40 and quickly use them 20 times in a row...after that you can check the harness at the IP cluster (thats my issue...i just smack it and the light goes away)
after all those attempts.....goto the dealer and read the codes for the SRS fault
