Default Starting Issue

Just finished the 60k service, but I'm still having a starting issue, I have to push down on the gas to get it to fire. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to be a concern. I did replace the fuel filter also.

Thanks Brian

Did you change your fuel filter, have you checked your fuel pressure, did you clean your throttle body?

I changed the fuel filter, have not checked the pressure or cleaned the throttle body. What do I use to clean the throttle body?

Thanks

Carb spray and if it is real dirty and tooth brush. I would also look at cleaning and or replacing the IAC, idle contol unit.

Got it fixed, cleaned the throttle body and adjusted the throttle cable a little. Starts like a champ now.

Thanks

Good, most people don't even think about cleaning the t/bosy as a maintance item, it should be done once a year.

Carb spray and a tooth brush, that's what I used as recommended by Disco Mike
