You can buy new self locking nuts at True Value, just take in one of your old ones and they will match you up with new ones.

I ordered one today also from Tom Woods. When installing the new shaft, is there anything to line up? It should only install one way, correct? 4 bolts on each end? Anything to consider or line up before removing old one? Thanks everyone in advance.

It's taken me a while to get to the TW, but I bought a grease gun at Harbor Freight this weekend and some Green grease at the FLAPS.

My question is which fitting do you guys put on the end of your grease gun hose? Mine has a flexible hose...and I bought this kit, but once I got home I see it doesnt have a "needle". Anyone have a pic of the fitting they use to grease the ujoints and slip joint?

I didn't see it mentioned so, you never know. Whilst in the grease monkey mode - grease the slip-joint also.

Cheers

geez I just took the old one off and put the new on. Drove over 200 miles today on the highway and no problems at all. Didn't realize I was supposed to take so many steps I asked and was told it was just a take off put on type of deal. Oh well
