Alright, I'm back from vacation :( . I got the drive shaft out and getting ready to take it to a shop and let them fix it up for me. What size are the nuts that are used? I haven't looked at my local hardware stores yet for replacements. Just trying to get a quick answer. :)

You can use the bolts over but you should replace the nuts. I'll admit that I didn't do that when I replaced my roto-flex in the rear shaft because I found out after I pulled the shaft out that the OEM Land Rover kit that the previous owner gave me with the truck only included 3 bolts and nuts, not the 6 needed to do the job. I knocked the portion of the nut that holds the nylock in place down a little with a punch and re-used the old ones. They haven't budged in about 12,000 miles so it looks like it worked but since you are thinking ahead, go get them now. Just to be sure, bring the bolts to the hardware store with you and you won't get the wrong size.

This update is a little late, but, I did find some replacement nuts at my local auto parts store. Had 4 in stock and had to order the other 4 which came in Friday morning. Took the drive shaft to a shop and had it rebuilt for $180 including tax. Dropped it off at 3:30 Thursday afternoon and they called me Friday morning at 10am and said it was ready! I got it installed that afternoon.

The truck is running like a top! No squeaks or jerks from the drive shaft. I'm happy, happy, happy! :D

Oh yea, after all this is finished, the truck is a little hesitant to start. While I'm buying parts for the other Rover, I have them check the battery on this one. DEAD! So, go to my Interstate battery store, they check it and tell me the same thing. OK, so I have to replace the battery. Luckily, they pro-rated the cost for me and it only cost me $66 for a new one (old one was only 25 months).
