Default Subwoofer Relocation???

Has anyone rerouted their stock subwoofer setup to a spot other than the back door??? <---considering the SS door panel..

I don't want to remove the sub completely, and at this point I'm NOT wanting to change the stock setup in any way other than moving things around...and the budget for this project is $0

Thanks, I'll search thru Chris' posts and see what he did. Funds are not available for this project, so I'll probably just end up putting everything back where it was for now, minus some of the plastic rivets I busted.

Really want one of those SS panels, Columbia Overland was having a "garage sale" and selling "imperfect" panels for CHEAP.

Ylo,
The best way I have found to re attach the rear gate panel is to ditch the plastic Christmas tree pins. Get these 1 1/16" thick earth magnets. glue them on the back of your panel with epoxy. Easy to remove the panel for rear door latch maintenance and no more breaking pins that will no longer hold in the gate. The rear gate is steel, so its magnetic.

I have made a Walnut rear gate panel with a Copper piping around the edge. I will be posting pictures soon as I have it installed. I think classier than the chrome kick plate that is being sold. But wood working skills are required for this mod. Here is a link to some pictures on that other rover forum where the "Grumpy old Men" reside. Well there is not good way I can find to make a link to Dweb....so here are the pictures.

The small square holes are for the interior gate handle.
