Default Suspected head gasket Td5

Hey guys, as the title suggests I suspect I've potentially done my head gasket/head itself in my 2000 Td5.

She overheated on me due to a lack of coolant about 5 months ago and has been holding a lot of pressure in the cooling system overnight ever since, losing a small amount of coolant every couple of weeks or so.

I'm going to get a leak down test done to try and confirm, but being remote it's going to be difficult to get the head crack tested and machined. I've found a private seller with a crack tested/machined head for sale that I could have shipped to me for less than having mine shipped and worked on.

Just wondering if there are any compatibility issues to look for, other than it being from a 10p engine? Is there anything that would stop this head being compatible with my block?

Cheers guys!

There are very few people on this forum who are going to be able to offer much help with a diesel engine. Most users are in the US and have the petrol beasts.
