ok so while installing my new cats and cat back yesterday, i found a broken spring on the right front.. i am unsure if i want to lift this thing, not really sure if i will ever do any serious off roading. i have no intention of getting rid of the 18in wheels, i would like different ones, but that is besides the point.

question is.. is there better than o.e.m.? like terrafirma that make stock ride height springs and what not? what would be best? im not doing this right away unless it becomes paramount. truck rides and drives fine.. it just leans ever so slightly to the right front.

If your not interested in lifting it don't just get new OEM springs all around and enjoy it. That is what I went with on my 110 and I couldn't be happier.

Give Lucky8 a call (716) 898-8153 they should be able to square you away. Great customer service, good prices and quick shipping. Probably looking at $300ish (maybe less I'm guessing) for all new springs at the 4 corners. I would also do the front shocks if you haven't replaced them while you are doing the springs. You have to remove them anyways seems silly to put the old shocks back.

thats good advice. every intention to replace what are probably the original shocks all around. is there a better shock, or just stick to oem? i would probably want new spring seats as they are pretty ugly as well. the steering stabilizer is original as well. are those things that are suggested. i usually buy new spring seats with new springs.

Looking at your signature line, I would definitely do shocks, springs and steering dampener. If the spring seats are looking tired they aren't expensive so I would just do it while I was in there. It can only improve the ride quality of your disco. Give them a call and talk with Eric or Justin, both really know the products and are real enthusiasts. They have never had a issue talking to me about my needs and wants and finding me a excellent match.

I went with TerraFirma All-Terrain shocks and I'm very happy with them. I'd love to tell you how they compare to stock but the shocks on my 110 were the factory originals from 1983. I do like the ride better than OME and Bilstiens I've had in the past though.
