Suspension and Drive shaft problems
I have a leaking airbag on my passenger side and figured it was a hole. If I let it sit overnight it bottoms out but refills as soon as I start my rover. It just started happening yesterday so I was thinking I should change the bags before I burn the compressor out. I was wondering could it be anything other than a bag leak? I was also thinking of going with Arnott Inc bags... any advise would be appreciated.
ALSO:
I am currently looking to rebuild my tom woods front driveshaft and was just making sure these are all I need and that they will work on a tom woods ds:
2 Precision #344 grease-able u-joints and 1 Precision #617 centering ball kit. Can these be bought locally?
Thanks for the help!

No, those aren't the correct parts. Precision 617 is for non-greaseable centers and 344 is a 1300 series u-joint. You probably need Spicer 5-153x, but best bet would be to just order the parts from TW. He's reasonable on the u-joints.
edited to add the 'x' on the Spicer number.

First, why are you rebuilding a Tom Woods drive shaft, why not grease it.
Tom, why do you say these are the wrong parts, this along with a Spicer # seem to be the parts most easily found, I am running and greasing mine and have been for a few years now.

Precision 344 is the u-joint that the stock Disco propshaft uses, which is a 1300 series. The last I looked the TW propshafts for Land Rovers used 1310 series u-joints, about the most common being the Spicer 5-153x or Precision 369. The precision 617 is the same as Neapco 70081NG, which is for a non-greasable center. The greaseable centers like on TW take, I'm guessing, the Neapco 7-0081 or Precision 612.
Precision also makes a 1310 u-joint that's dimensionally the same as the 369, but has the zerk fitting in the end cap, which is what I used to rebuild my GBR DC propshaft last year.
But like I said, best thing to do is call TW and ask. I've never held one in my hand and measured it.

Thats a good idea antichrist I was kinda pissed at them for selling me a shoddy shaft so I wasn't going to deal with them anymore but that does sound like the best idea. Maybe I can get them to knock off a few bucks since its their shaft that is failing early.
Mike, I greased that thing every oil change but there must be a flaw in the materials/ workmanship so I am having to rebuild it. I posted earlier on this but it was more of a rant than anything else. How about the air-bags? Is there anything else I should know about them before I buy?

Yep that is what I was doing. I didn't know about the "5th" spot needing grease and I am still not sure exactly where that is and I prob only greased the shaft 2 or 3 times in the zerk that has the plug. I am also using the best synthetic grease I could find at autozone though I don't remember the exact brand.
