I have my Rover parked at my friends house so i can't go under a look and the search function isn't doing me any favors...

Is the passenger side transfer case mount the same part/ part number as the passenger side transmission mount?

The transfer case is not the transmission, so I would assume the mounts would be different. The transmission contains the gears that you "shift into," drive, reverse, etc. The transfer case is another word for the center differential, which takes the power from the transmission and sends it to the wheels.

The center differential is only part of the T-case. As for the mount, yes they're different by at least part number.

I thought it would be different as well. I've searched the parts sites and call BAP, but there is no listing for a transfer case mount. This is why i got to thinking it might be the same.

I know there is a transfer case mount because mine is sheered off completely, which also trashed one of my u-joints on the front drive shaft.

That happened to me as well, that's why I know there's a difference haha. There is a left and right hand gearbox mount. In reality the LH mount holds the tranny, and the RH mount holds the T-case.

No problem, I used the following part numbers-
KQB100140 - RH
KQB500550 - LH

But I bought the aftermarket KQB500550 we sell for $18, Product Details - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North
