Default tail light screws

the screws that stick out of the rear lights on my D2 are wicked jacked up. Do I need special screws to replace them or are they just normal screws?

thanks!

Like anything on a Land Rover, they are not normal screws readily available at Home Depot, and if they are sticking out past the taillight get rid of them.
Rovers North has the screws (RNI198) for $.42/ea, and the captive nut (RNI199) for $.66/ea. Buy ten of each (2 spares) and call it a day.
Then check the bulbs and seals as well.
