Thinking about buying...any advice

RE: Thinking about buying...any advice
Very true. Thats what I meant by "conversion kits" thats what they refer to them as on e-bay. You sent me a document of the instructions (thanks by the way!) and i looked ever it and decided it wasnt worth it. I have seen some good jobs with the conversions, but i dont want to mess with it. I think its gotten to a point where charging $50 dollars for instructions is ridiculous.

I agree, that's why I try to send them out for free. Most get the instructions and decide it is cost prohibitive and waste $50 on the instructions...
When I finally get out of school, I may try the upgrade on my D1. I have been thinking of changing the whole front end over, might as well do the headlights. Now, if I can just firure out how to raise the tail lights.....

I bought the 03 SE with a little over 60,000 miles. It has been nothing but perfect. You cannot get another truck for the money that compares to the cool appeal. I get comments all the time, and I mean all the time. I use it for a daily driver and get anywhere from 13.5 to 15 MPG...
