Also, don't forget to bleed the system after the replacement hose is installed.

I have had mine bypassed for 2 years. No issues and it gets super cold here. Under the hood if for sure warm enough not to worry for me.

Thanks again for the assistance, took all of 7 minutes to do, cleaned up the spillage. Shes clean and good to go.

Glad to hear. Keep a spare hose on hand as the exhaust manifold is right under where the hose runs for the bypass. I found a pinhole in mine about two weeks ago, luckily I keep a spare just incase.

In regard to "keeping a spare #7 hose", do you most of you use the plastic OEM type hose/tubing to the reservoir or have you replaced it with small gas-line type hose all the way to the reservoir? How do you get to the top of the engine end of the small #6 hose so you can take it off to replace it?

Mine is leaking too. I am not following how to do this "bypass". Please forgive me, but can someone please explain this? I do not want to screw this up and my wife is terrified to drive this truck anymore. Something always is wrong with it. HELP!

dunno how these fine fellas are doing it, but I removed both hoses that go to the throttle body heater and installed a small 1/4" piece of copper tubing, that I bent into a horseshoe shape.

Easiest way is to just block off the ends of both hoses. It's a bleed circuit and has no effect on anything else.
