Throttle Position Sensor, Need help
Hey guys,
I recently bought my first disco 2 and when I was driving it home on the highway the car began to not get power and when I had my foot all the way day was stuck at 60 km/h then would randomly come back into power and would drive fine at 110km/h, initially, I thought it was the valve body but after some research people have been saying it is the throttle position sensor. Has anyone else had this issue and is it a hard one to fix (will a mechanic need to do it?).
Cheers

I think I paid about $70 for a Bosch unit and it was extremely easy to install. It’s the same Throttle Position Sensor on a Honda, Kia, Nissan, Saab, and Vauxhall.

cheers for that. Do you happen to remember the website you purchased it off?
Also mine is a TD5, I’m reading some things saying diesels don’t hsve them. Is that correct?
