Default Tiny toggle switch below steering column

Engine was running rough and SES light doesn't work, so I stopped by O'Reily's to read the codes.

0304 - cylinder 4 misfire
1451 - unknown (old posts say SAI, i'll check the filter soon)
0447 - evaporative emission control system vent control circuit open

The guy said the 447 is a loose or leaky gas cap. Reset, the misfire went away, so nothing too serious, and it seems to be running better. Whew, for now...

But while I was under the dash, I noticed a tiny toggle switch at the bottom of the trim right under the steering column. Anybody have any idea what this thing does?

Sorry for poor quality. Looks after market, but there's been nothing added to this truck.

Definitely aftermarket. Do you have an aftermarket alarm system? It looks like a valet(bypass) switch.

That button is permanently activated from the factory. It's a feature.

Looks like the valet switches I've had in other cars with alarms.
