Mine is a dummy light only. There are two different pressure switches, and they have different threads and connectors. Mine is the old one with larger threads and a single blade connector. The other has a smaller threads and a plastic connector that goes over the end of the switch. Mine is dummy light only and I'm pretty sure the other one is too.

I JUST UNPLUG THE UNIT A FEW TIMES TIL IT CONNECTS AFTER CYCLING AND RE-ENTERING THE CONNECT CODE 1234 factory setting. Sometimes restarting the truck works as well with unit plugged in.

I am using ELM 327 with Torque pro on samsung galaxy a4 lite with my D2 2004 ... there is no problems what so ever.
its a great app to keep tracking your temps and clear faults now and then .
