Transmission Filters..any difference?
Just got my 95 disco lastnight. Planning on changing the transmission fluid and filter today. I noticed at they have 2 different filters at Advance Auto Parts
The Pro King:

and the Beck / Arnley Kit

The Beck Arnley is about $11.00 more...just curious if I need to stick to one particular type of filter?
Also...I want to flush the fluid..should I change the fluid and filter..drive it for a few miles and then change the fuild and filter again?

RE: Transmission Filters..any difference?
Thats the problem that I ran into. Not to mention the trans cooler lines. Before you drop the pan makesure that you can do the other stuff first.
I just drained the fluid and replaced it with a good Dexron and then changed it again 10k later and replaced it with Valvoline High Mileage ATF.
I will have the filter changed but I am going to wait until I have the money to pay to have it done.
