might as well go - we got a bunch of vehicles as recovery vehicles and if you are concerned about breaking your rig then just go and play on the little stuff and watch me break mine. no im not planning on it but it happens EVERY TIME. im currently stuck, sideways, on a hillclimb at the same place i want to take you guys. i just spent all evening trying to get un-stuck and we decided to wait til tomorrow when we have daylight and my neighbors jeep with a winch. (why does it seem that i always have to wait til daylight ?! )
im actually sitting on 2 wheels right now. i caught a rut while backing down a hillclimb and my rover decided to take a 3 point turn without asking me. result: rover VERY precariously stuck. stuck like with air showing under 2 wheels.
at least there isnt a lake in sight...


let me know if you wanna go, if only to watch me make a fool out of myself...

 

straddline ORV park is closed for the winter according to there website. but im game to go when they reopen...

 

as long as nothing that i have to be at happens on the 17th i will be there.

i working on a door seal issue so inless i get that fixed in time i will not be doing any high river crossings, but mud and junk i dont care. also unless i can find a set of tires to borrow i will be on street Falken tires so i will do my best to represent well

this is actually turning into an event! sofar we got 10 jeeps (only one of which is stock) 2 big pickups and 4 rovers on the roster.
thats a LOT of people to heckle me when i get stuck...

Somebody needs to get some video footage for those of us who can't be there.

 

I will be there and will try to bring both cameras. I fear that our stock Rovers might not be able to out perform the built up Jeeps but I am willing to try. See you there!
