Default Two Tone

Anyone out there ever done or seen a two tone paint job on a Disco? I need to get mine painted and was considering doing a green or tan with a white roof. Thoughts, photos?

If I was going to do something that major, I'd be thinking about taking a photo of the actual vehicle and then manipulating the picture with photoshop (or similar) to see the final effect.

Edit: Let me amend that last statement to "and then let my son manipulate the picture with photoshop" (I wouldn't have a clue on how to do it)

It's a friend of mine's truck. I'll try to find another angle if possible.

Here's a friends D1...green with a tan top...

You can see a blue D2 (belonging to Randy Williams) in the background of this picture. (Sorry about the size...)

Thanks for the photos guys. Good reference. And you are spot on in reference to the photoshop thing Mr. Kreutz. I would have to recruit my daughter to do that for me.

I'd also recommend NOT painting it PURE white. It's more of a cream white colour, pure white is odd, trust me!

Cool

Yeah, if I decide to redo the black on the lower body, I don't want it looking like a cop car.

My wife got an FJ Cruiser (black with a white top) I'm not enthused, but it was what she wanted.
