Okay that is good, how about the easy stuff like TC in N? Shifter linkage connected? Dash indicate change in selection thru PRND321?

Did the torque converter come out at any time? Little bit of a know issue with people not installing correctly and damaging the front pump.

ok so the TC shifter is super easy to move now sloppy really. So thought is I knocked it loose and moved the TC to N and it stuck there.
and if so how does one get to it ?

It's a cable on a D2 and you can look up on top of the TC with a mirror or just barely get a smaller hand up there and feel if the linkage is still connected.

Ok breakdown of where and what
Checked shifters they seem ok
Checked fluid but still stays cool after running a bit
Check bolts have noticed since pushing out of the garage when putting it in a gear a funny sound like something spinning but not doing what it should?
So torque converter not seated right?
Never removed the torque converter all bolts where removed and reinstalled with out the oil pan in place

When putting in gear or putting in park? Doesn’t move in drive or reverse? You can drop the tcase pan and see if anything spinning but starting to sound like a front pump.
