Default Viscous Fan Clutch

anyone has a Viscous Fan Clutch in good condition wants to sell. I saw quite few aftermarket ones not sure how good they are. I have one currently installed that may be the reason Truck overheating. I will do some testing tomorrow.
I would like to replace that fan anyways. anyone has a spare one in Austin, TX or surrounding area i will be happy to pick up.

Thanks

You want to purchase Hayden or Import Direct model 2991 Severe Duty brand new from Oreillys, $70. Not a part you want to skimp on. Order fan blade from an early D2 (99-02) from any recycler or board vendor here, shipped to your door for $30 and good to go. You don't want a used viscous clutch.

Exactly the answer i was looking for. Thanks

Let's see anyone wants to sell me blade from a D2 here. I am kicking myself for throwing mine away it was good just replaced for the heck of it.

question, why the old blade? is it better than any aftermarket?

Are you talking about this Heyden model?

Gotta love Rock Auto. I have been buying for years. Thanks I already ordered from Amazon prime 2 days free shipping.

All I need is the blade. Anyone selling a blade from D2 please let me know.
Thanks

The 03-04 models have a 1-piece fan/clutch design. You cannot separate the 2 and retailers/vendors tend to charge a premium, even though there is not a HD unit available. There are some places here and there who will give them away for cheap but regardless, those of use with the later D2 will end up getting away from the 1-piece so that we can get the HD fan clutch. Then just have to source a good, used early D2 blade.

Yes it's the original one piece, wasn't sure if he was looking for that one or not. Not looking to get anything for it. I missed the part where he said he just wanted the blade, in that case it would not be what the OP is looking for

Thanks guys trying to help here. I was following Chubbs's advice from last night, orderd the Hayden clutch and just got a word from Paul he is going to ship me one blade. I am all set now. hope this was my overheating problem. I used an after market complete fan it's possible that was the problem. the truck only overheats when AC is on and long distance. I have checked, flushed with new coolant, checked the AC fan you name it. All now point to this cheap fan

Thank you Shady Milkman (love the name!) for the offer.
