Default Want to make OME heavy duty suspension more so

Would adding 1 inch spacers front and rear to OME heavy duty springs with 2 inch lift offer any additional benefits in terms of the amount of weight the vehicle can support? I'm putting an ARB bull bar/winch bumper and an 8,000 lb winch on my 2003 Discovery 2. I also tend to load the vehicle heavy with extra gas, etc. I'm curious if the spacers would be helpful. Thanks.

Spacers will not increase the amount of weight your Disco can carry

@dcaven Disco's load pretty heavy stock, the bumper's and winch do not really add that much.

The base curb weight with a full tank of gas is 4608 4718 - depending on trim package
Max weight is 6063 - 6228 5 vs 7 seater
So 1455 to 1510 on stock equipment

OEM heavy duty give you +110 lbs

ARB bumper is about 100
A Warn M8000 is 83

So that is only 183 extra

If you are really concerned get full loaded up and go to a truck scale and get your axle weights

Front is 2446 LBS max
Rear 3968 max (7 - seater) 3792 (5 seater)

dump the spacers and go with 3" RTE springs.
