Default We got Codes!

I don't drive my LR often (at least often enough apparently) as I ride the bike everyday I can..

Well I was using it last week to tow a trailer while we moved from one house to a new house.. for the first 20 trips or so everything was fine, then I notice on one trip hesitations, and lack of power, and it got worse.

To the point I have to put it in SPort mode, and manually shift at high RPMs to get to highway speed. Took it in to get diagnosed, and this is what they returned:

P0300
P0301
P0306
P01300

Was told, Ignition Coils, Wires, plugs, plenum gasket $1875.00

first. what kind of truck do you drive, what is the year, the mileage?

My initial thought is you need new 8mm magnecor wires $90 from apexperformance.com and new bosch +4 plat plugs $5 each.
Total cost $130

So, how mechanical are you? You will want 8 mm wires and new plugs, stay away from the coil for now cause it may not be needed.

On a scale of 1 - 10, about a 7 or an 8.

Have never rebuilt an engine, but do all my own work on bike, truck and tractors.

Know how to use a Torque Wrench, and know when to employ a 20 lb sledge for extra leverage!

Well, I dropped it off to get the codes $129 for labor they did give me the codes and the price to fix it $1875.

So I ordered the wires, the plugs, AND rear EBC Green Stuff Pads, and EBC slotted and drilled Rotors, did all the work myself and $350 later the truck runs and STOPS great!!

I don't remember changing the wires being so damn difficult... that was NOT fun, but this time I put them all back on in the right order. Learned the last time to make a sketch of the ignition coils and engine spark plug order.

THANKS EVERYONE!!

Removing the hood doesn't make it easy(4 bolts), but it makes it 10X easier, that and a milk crate to stand on so I'm standing over the engine..
