Default Weekend trip to moab - Hey Joe Mine Trail

The fam and I decided on a weekend trip to Moab this weekend. We did the Hey Joe Mine trail Saturday.

Did you try to follow the sheep...lol.

And why was the trail gated off? Seasonal gating?

Anyhow, thank you for sharing. Nice looking rig, too.

That looks like a ton of FUN, but you guys should be more careful!

I just couldn't help myself... those pics reminded me of watching cartoons on Saturday morning as a kid.

Some of the land is BLM land so there a a few cattle gates along the trail.

If anyone does that trail it has changed quite a bit since the trail guide book was published. Several washouts. Several rock obstacles. Also around .75 miles of thicket that you can here tearing through your clear coat. Not a red but stock 4wd suv no longer can do it.
