The reason I asked is I got the pucks but hesitated over the steering rod and support under the cargo area. With my 4 inches I have never had a problem but I also never extended my steering rod, which is hexagonal, not round.

You can loosen the t40 on the steering shaft and it extends plenty far. The tight part is the bowden cable for the trans shifter.

Thanks for that. I just checked my steering rod again and it is near the end... must have wiggled itself to a comfortable spot.
