Default What rock sliders are these?

Hi all. My '04 Discovery came with a pair of sliders and I'm trying to find out what they are.

They also came with some L-shaped metal pieces about 3 feet long that look like they are supposed to be bolted somewhere under the vehicle and I'm trying to surmise if they are part of a package. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Eamon

The 4 supports 3 ft long are most likely to be bolted to the inside of the frame rails and/or to the rock slider itself and extend into some mount point under the D2 as frame support for the sliders. Do the mounts look like the ones on the sliders here:

The look like rovertym ones but it is a kind of generic slider design so hard to really know for sure.

Can find them at lucky8: Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...

I agree, there is something about the mounts that makes me think it is a copy not a true RTE.

Thanks for the input guys. They do look like the RTE ones. I'm not too worried about it since they look pretty beefy but figure I'd ask anyway.

They look a lot like mine which were from an ebay seller with a company name like Boddorf or something like that! I think the guy went out of business. I know when I ordered mine 5 years or so ago they took forever to get to me. I actually like mine, I had to drill some mounting holes and I've touched them up a few times with black paint.

I would say they are Rovertym sliders, they use a 2-piece mount to form a U-channel. I just pulled a set off of a truck today, exactly like this except rusted beyond belief. I am familiar with the Bottorf sliders, I have a set on my truck, and actually like them better than the Rovertym ones. The Bottorf sliders (and, yes, I believe he did close- there were issues) are 1-piece with a full U-channel. The Bottorf sliders are/were a little more difficult to install than Rovertym sliders, but I don't like the 2-piece design and backplate of the Rovertym unit.

Also, Bottorf sliders have but one connector from the nerf bar to the slider, centered between each end. Those pictured have 3 connectors, consistent with the Rovertym sliders I was cursing just a short while ago. Those appear to be in spectacularly good condition!
