will a non rover repair shop have scanning capabilities?

You can rent my ABS Amigo. I just got it back. ABS codes on cars are proprietary. Unlike standardized OBDII codes any OBDII code reader will scan.

I just purchased the HAWKEYE scanner from DAP-inc.com
it will do everything you want even the air suspension
I will give a full report when I receive it and hook it up to my disco.
