By far my inline thermostat mod. Something so satisfying about seeing low solid temps and not worrying about temps climbing strong on long hill climbs.
Inline thermostat mod complete.
I was serioulsly thinking of doing this mod since I'm now in Georgia. But I might have a job in Germany and with the cold weather there, I'm holding off doing this mod.
I had the OEM Rims Powdercoated matte black. Pick up later this week. Looking for recoemdndations for new rubber. Have studded snow tires so just something for 3 seasons that is off road capable but still appropriate for city driving. Thanks

I did this too. Went with BFG All Terrains and been super happy.

You could do inline with a 190 thermostat. I am going to do that next time I drain the coolant.

Far and away the best mod you can do, well maybe second behind the pcv valve...

I have General Grabber AT2s on mine (LT265/75/R16). Does extremely well off-road, even in mud. Surprisingly quiet on the freeway. Very happy with them so far.
