mine was a 1969 El Camino that i bought when i was 15 and drove throughout school.

 

1988 toyota supra, was on the highway and the oil filter gasket gave and that was the end of that car (sold it)
now I got my land rover

right now it is winter time so I love the land rover, but I miss the hell out of that supra

(i'm 17 so my first car was only from june 2008)

 

mine was a 2003 Discovery, man that car was unreliable, oh wait...

At age 13 I was told "Cam, you're getting the van when you're 16..."
I was not about to let that happen! So I went out and became a soccer ref and saved every penny I made for three years, worked almost every sat. during the soccer season.
At 16 I found my Disco for $8000 dollars, I paid $7000 and my parents threw in $1000.
My disco has been great, Its my child and I dont think I will ever sell it!
I want to go all over with it one day, when I have a job and make more money of course.
I'm 18 now and I will be heading off to college next year, and I trust that my disco will get me there and back! Its taught me sooooo much about owning a vehicle and its turned me into a total LAND ROVER ENTHUSIAST for life.

i admire those whom buy their own vehicles and do not look to mommy and daddy to buy em everything. i have always paid for my vehicles with money from my own work.

 

1st car-1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale with a 350 Rocket, 4-barrel carburator and a 3 speed automatic. I was 15.
1981 Ford Escort station wagon.
1977 Pontiac Catalina with a 400 big block and a 3 speed auto. But gas was less then a $1.00 per gallon.

First vehicle '86 Buick Century. In '95. Yes, my dad bought it, for $400, and I worked for him for peanuts.
Second '88 Pontiac Sunbird - Got this one cuz the Buick wasn't very reliable.
Third '83 GMC S-15 - I killed the Sunbird and got this truck, loved it except for the lack of A/C. High school girls gotta have A/C.
Fourth '81 Honda Accord - This car had A/C, and only 80k original miles in '98
Fifth '98 GMC Sonoma - Grenaded the motor in the Honda and this was the first vehicle I ever financed.
Sixth '01 Chevy S-10 - After new tranny in the Sonoma, it was time for something better, and 4x4.
Seventh '03 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV - 4x4 too expensive and not family friendly, got a baby on the way in '04.
Eighth '06 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV - Tranny almost gone in the '03, and Nissan dealer made me a good deal.
Ninth '87 Honda Prelude and '95 Nissan 240SX - Got rid of the Sentra and got 2 project cars. Crap shoot as to which one I drove more.
Tenth '03 Land Rover Discovery - I love this truck, I will never get rid of this truck. My wife now wants an LR3.
