I have an Autel MD802 and it does most things I need short of programming modules.

I can use it for the normal OBD2 functions, and it helped diagnose a bad ABS wheel speed connection recently and clear those codes.

Also works for airbag SRS codes.

Is this the only one you guys are using? Ive bought 2 that claim to read LR d2 ABS but to no avail. Ive got about a $300 budget. (rather not spend that much) Im looking at the MD802 as referred but are there any others?

I recently picked up the following.

2023 LAUNCH X431 Elite OBD2 Scanner For Land Rover Jaguar, Full System Diagnostic Scan Tool, All Services, Bi-directional Control, Key Programming, Battery Registration, AUTO VIN, Lifetime Free Update

Amazon currently has it for 180 but after a 50 dollar coupon it is 130.

I bought it to make new keys (see thread ”I made new keys”). But it appears to do a lot more. I have not yet been able to play with it yet.

But someone else on that thread got the

KINGBOLEN for only 65. It does appear that this device may be only good for a year?
