Default Whats A Good Tire? (ASAP)

Whats a good tire for the stock Disco II wheels? By good I mean something that is street able, won't effect gas mileage that much, but looks agressive and is decent off road. Doesn't have to be a great off road tired, I have a five other rims with 34" SuperSwampers on them for the extreme stuff.

I just need some new daily driver tires that I can also go off road without worry, and look more aggressive than the junk I have now.

If you have pics, post them too.

General Grabber A/t2
Great off road, quite on road (very minimal hum)
Looks aggressive, great price, I wouldnt buy any other A/t tire after having these.

I have liked the Nitto Terra Grappler, good on road manners and the ability to get you were you need in mild off roading. The other great standby is the always great BFG AT. Good luck with the choice.

I would suggest the General Grabber as well. They're a great tire and they're very cheap.

And how do you fit 34" tires on a stock DII?

Or, if you have a Big "O" tires store around you, check out their new AT's, they are pretty cool.
Also, I have the bame question, how are you fitting 34's on your D2???????

I use the Yokohama geolander 2. they are holding up well and have good road manners and work well in weather.

i use cooper discovery S/T's, cheap (they last a long time for $x4 tires), and good tread. There a little louder going over 65 though. snow/offroad is great for a middle of the road tire. Bought them cause' they were recomended by land rover life.

Thanks for the suggestions.

But I have to pull the 'WTF' card on everyone wondering how I'm fitting the 34" Swampers on. When I bought the truck it came with five daily driver tires, and five SuperSwampers. All on different rims of-course. Sooooo....... as far as I know, I fit them on by removing the daily driver rim and tires combo, and then bolting them on. Other than that I have no idea, I have no issues running them.

are you sure those are 34's? look more like 31's..also swampers run big so 34's measure out to be almost 35 inches. BTW very nice looking rover, I would like to have the same setup when I start off-roading my rover.
