putting an r380 5spd and center locking diff in an 03 disco?

should bolt up, right?

What's an R380? I'm assuming it's an engine but what's it from and what's the specs?

the better 5spd available in my defender.

My thought was to combine things to my liking to make the disco how I thought it should be.

Gotcha. I guess I misread the original post. I thought you were saying an R380 and a 5 speed. I really don't know why it wouldn't fit but installing a clutch system could be your biggest challenge.

The R380 is a t-case.

I see no reason if you had the trans and t-case from a 5-speed DII it would not work.

I guess I meant that and the 230. Whats the challenge in putting diff lock in an 03? It is essentially the same transfer correct?

someone on the site has installed CDL in his 03 transfer case. There's a write up on it here on the site.

jyclous (spelling?) put a CDL in his '03.
He lives in the USVI and I know I spelled his screename wrong.
