I'm a former archaeologist (M.A. in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language) who now is a zoning/planning director and historic preservation officer for a small little former mining town that is a National Historic Landmark.
In other words, I get to tell people what they can and can't do with their homes and businesses.
I just signed up for my LSAT on Monday, take it September 26 in Flagstaff. I was told by a big firm attorney that I'm the first zoning person he's ever seen to cite case law in an appeal to Town Council over opening a wine/tasting room on Main St. Whee!
