i guess I have been in the sun too long. Please tell me where the plug in the photo just forward of the IACV plies into. Also, is the nipple close to it on the inlet manifold part of the EVAP? I find no tone to connect it. Finally, what is these yellow plug near the master cylinder for?
In the first picture it looks to me like you are missing your purge control valve. The plug should plug into the PCV and you have two hoses that run from the PCV, one goes to the nipple you see in the photo and one goes out the back of the PCV to between the engine & firewall.
The yellow plug looks to me like your ABS sensor that runs from one of your wheel hubs up to the ABS hardware under your hood. Maybe the other part is flopping around down below somewhere or maybe it got torn loose. Are you experiencing a visit from the Three Amigos?
I'll see if I can find some pics of the PCV valve & hoses to upload in a few.

thanks for that, I will look into the pcv.
i have random 3 amigos that resolve themselves, I figured it was the shuttle valve issue some have. I will poke around some more.
Pretty sure the part that runs behind your engine is on the left in this pic. The hose on the right is what plugs into the plastic nipple that is showing in your first photo
The female receptacle on the left is where the yellow plug in your second photo should connect to.
My guess is that your sensor was disconnected for some work or pulled free somehow and you should find something that looks like this photo down below the yellow plug to connect it with.
If your abs sensor was replaced likely the plug is just left over from the original wiring...it's dead. Just follow the sensor wire from the wheel well into the engine compartment and you will know.
