Where the heck do these wires go???
hey everyone, I just noticed that I have two wires hanging down near the top of my trans. on my '03 Disco. One looks like it may have a broken off connector inside of it, the other doesn't. They both have an individual connector on them (as in, not a 2-wire plug, but two seperate single ones). One is all black and the other is black with a green stripe. Cannot find where these wires go...
Anyone have ANY idea at all???
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer. I'm totally stuck here, no idea where they might go ???
Also, both are female side connectors.

Running great, not shifting correctly though. Won't kick down to 3rd gear after about 35 mph. Lugs real bad in fourth gear, then if you give it about 3/4 throttle it kicks down to 2nd gear. I don't know if the wires have anything to do with it??? I doubt it. Just don't have any idea where these wires go, I don't know if they were ever connected, looks like they were but not sure.
By the way they hang off the left side (drivers side) just behind where the shifter cable connects to the trans.
I'm hoping sombody who has maybe changed a trans. in one of these might remember where these wires go to. Thanks in advance for the help.

That's a definite possibility, they just changed to no CDL and left everything else the same right. I didn't even think of that. Thank you.
No fault codes, just not shifting properly. Should be a code... but no. Why won't this transmission kick down? Lugs around awful bad in fourth gear when it should just downshift.
I thought that CEL meant "CHANGE ENGINE" in the '03s hahahaha
