The bumpers look like Rockstar Fab units. The rack doesn't though his racks were the cats ***

I realize I am reviving a thread from 2 years ago but I ran across this pic on Google today and recognized the truck!

This one was apparently built by Sparks Motors AKA Discovery Channel's "Diesel Brothers" and has a 300 TDI Conversion

I had to dig back into his Instagram to find this pic but I have seen other photos of the truck in the past, someone should track it down and buy it..

I tried googling the truck but couldn't find anything linking it to the "Diesel Brothers" - I'd guess they want to keep it that way...

Definitely home-built. The 45deg angle cuts for the step in the rack give it away. Also note the sliders and bumpers that are made from the same round tubing.

Overall, it seems like the truck was built for show more than function.

Eh, I'm not sure it's that terrible. The weight of the roof rack seems like a big mistake, but I wouldn't be too bothered about the use of bedliner and other minor quibbles about the bumper. It's an off-road vehicle. It's not clear what specifically is wrong with the engine.

The 300 TDi is a pretty old oiler by todays reckoning.

Pretty sure the TD5 is illegal in the US. But I don't think having a 300tdi in a D2 is exactly legal either, which is another huge problem with this vehicle.
