Decided to take a look at the vacuum lines on the passenger side of the D2...

Take a look and confirm this is why:

Just to update, I replaced this tonight and still no cruise control. Oh well on to other things.

This reminds me... I really need to replace all my aging rubber vacuum hoses with HPS silicone hoses.

BTW... do you have LED brake lights?
