Default Will 33" tires fit?

I have a 04 disco and I'm putting a 1.5" lift, will 33" tires fit? Dimensions are 275/70/18.

what brand lift? some are a little bigger than stated. it's going to be very close. you will have some rubbing on the radius arms and sway bars so you will have to make steering stop adjustments. you may get some rubbing on the front bumper depending on what bumper you are running so that will require some trimming.

Do not use spacers but an actual lift and you will need a true 3" lift for everything to clear.
What lift are you thinking about, you will need new stainless steel brake line and if you want to regain the huge loss of low end power and the 3 Plus MPG you will want gears. If you plan on hard wheeling you will need H.D. axles and lockers cause the stock Rover diffs won't hold up to a 275 size tire.

Thanks for the info guys. I ordered a 1.5" lift through British Atlantic, I coudnt find anything larger than a 1.5". Should I go with a 265/70 to make it work? I am planing on getting the air lockers. I dont plan on doing any heavy rock climbing, just some weekend trails and camping. Suggestions? Thanks

You'd need at least a 2 inch lift to have a good chance at clearance. I have a 2 inch terrafirma lift and 275/65/18 tires bfg's which is about a 32 inch tire or 31.5. The rear tires clear with about an inch of room, but the front wheels can get close to the front bumper some times.

That being said I could run a 285/65/18 tire but I would need to trim the front bumper.

Before you get lockers and everything spend some time with the truck on the trail and see what it can do. You may find yourself not needing lockers...

Cancel that 1.5" lift and order a good OME lift with 779 front coils and 762 rears, along with their shocks, a steering stabilizer and new brake lines.
Which air lockers are you looking at and how come not a Detroit or T.T., what type of wheeling will you be doing?
